FREE Breast Cancer Screening!

Posted on 12. Oct, 2009 by in Blog

Friends,

In line with the theme of this month which is breast cancer awareness, the Afya Kenya Foundation is partnering with the Kenya Breast Health Programme to provide free breast cancer screening for one and all.

When? This coming Saturday, the 24th of October.
Where? At the Mavuno Church, Belle Vue Drive In along Mombasa Road. What time? From 10am to 4pm.

Everybody and anybody can learn how to properly perform a self breast exam and have themselves screened for absolutely free!

All you have to do is turn up…Tell all the women in your life to do so as well. Don’t forget that breast cancer affects men too so haul them along! This simple 10 minute service could end up saving your life!

Regards,
Oduwo Noah Akala,
Chairman,
Afya Kenya Foundation.

You are doing a fantastic job, congratulations. I talk a lot about cervical cancer, an equally deadly disease and working hard to raise awareness among our women folk. I would like an opportunity to meet your group.

Hi. I have a friend who is not well off and suspects she has a breast lump. Where can I advice her to go to get checked. Please advice where the next free clinics are to be, so she can get help or where she can get the check at a subsidized rate.

Please get in touch with me through ckingongo@yahoo.com.
